Peter Troxler joined the Criminal Defense/Disciplinary division of Koehler & Isaacs in January, 2007. In that time he has successfully represented a significant client base in the Metropolitan New York area criminal courts in all manner of misdemeanor and felony cases including: Assault, Harrassment, Menacing, Weapons Possession, Official Corruption, Larceny, Robbery, Burglary, DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene of Accidents, Prison Contraband, Criminal Contempt, Domestic Violence, and Sex Crimes.
Prior to joining Koehler & Isaacs, Mr. Troxler worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Office of the Bronx District Attorney. In his six years in that capacity, he was assigned to prosecute and try misdemeanor and felony matters pending in Criminal and Supreme Court. He prosecuted cases involving: Robbery, Grand Larceny, Burglary, Assault, Menacing, Weapons Possession, Auto Theft, Prison Contraband, Narcotics (Possession and Sale), DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene of Accidents, and other matters.
Mr. Troxler has also held intern and paralegal positions at the New York County District Attorney's Office, the United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of New York, New York County Defenders Services, and the Unemployment Action Center.
