Andrew Rowe joined the Criminal Defense/Disciplinary division of Koehler & Isaacs in May, 2011. Before joining Koehler & Isaacs Andrew was a successful criminal defense attorney with his own law firm practicing in both state and federal courts. Andrew has successfully represented numerous clients in all of the New York area criminal courts in all manner of misdemeanor and felony cases including: Homicide, Assault, Bank Robbery, Drug Possession and Sale, Harassment, Fraud, Menacing, Weapons Possession, Official Misconduct, Larceny, Robbery, Burglary, DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Prison Contraband, Criminal Contempt, Domestic Violence, and Sex Crimes.
Prior to going in to private practice, Mr. Rowe worked as a staff attorney with the Legal Aid Society. During his tenure there he was assigned to defend misdemeanor and felony matters pending in Criminal and Supreme Court. He represented over two thousand people in those five short years. He also provided training to new litigators teaching litigation skills and the intricacies of the New York City criminal justice system.
Mr. Rowe was also a member of the first class of twelve that had the privilege to take part in the Southern District of New York’s Criminal Justice Act Mentorship Program.
